International Internship Program

Aligned with AHA Philippines’ thrust to develop students and graduates who are globally competitive, international internship is a requirement for students enrolled in the Associate Degree Program, and an option given to graduates of other programs. This aims to provide graduates the opportunity to further build on the knowledge learned in school, to hone their skills and to widen perspective through an international work experience in the fast growing, globally competitive hospitality industry.

Through a dynamic collaboration between AHA Philippines and its mother company, the American Hospitality academy based in Hilton Head, South Carolina, a J1 visa sponsor which hosts students from different parts of the world, students have the opportunity to undergo culinary training in the United States. AHA Phil has also opened its doors to the entry of other internship providers, to allow students the option to pursue their training in other countries, such as Australia, US, Canada, parts of Asia and work assistance in Scandinavian countries and the Middle East.
