AHA PHILIPPINES TIES UP WITH PROFESSIONAL CULINARY INSTITUTE (PCI) :
To provide Filipino Students the fastest route to an advanced, world class culinary education

To further boost its culinary curriculum and to provide students and graduates with advanced study opportunities in culinary arts, baking and pastry arts, and wine, the American Hospitality Academy, Philippines has forged a partnership with the prestigious Professional Culinary Institute (PCI). This partnership allows AHA Phil students to take the fastest route to an advanced, world class culinary education.

Located in Campbell, California in the heart of San Francisco Bay Area, near the wine growing region of Sta. Cruz mountain, PCI is America’s premier chef-owned school. At the helm of PCI as president is Chef Richard Battista, a multi awarded chef whose life time passion is to educate young chefs. A Certified Executive Chef, Certified Executive Pastry Chef, and a Certified Culinary Educator with over 33 years of experience as culinary educator in various prestigious culinary schools in the United States, Chef Battista, along with his team of top rated master chefs and chef instructors, opens the doors of PCI’s brand new state-of-the-art facility to further hone students and culinary graduates of AHA Philippines through advanced culinary training.

In July, 2008. the first batch of AHA Phil graduates are slated to pursue a one month intensive, advanced culinary studies at PCI ( see related write up on course details) in a special course designed specifically for AHA Phil graduates. The course will be administered under the direct supervision of Chef Battista and Chef George Hadres, PCI’s Director of Education. AHA Phil graduates will have the opportunity to train under PCI’s multi awarded chef instructors, and further hone their culinary skills in the school’s state of the art laboratory facilities and magnificent teaching kitchens, while billeted in first class accommodation facilities.
